Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Governance and Strategic Planning Committee has backed a key step towards the future sale of the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium, with elected members agreeing in principle to progress proposals that would see the venue transferred to Derry City FC, subject to valuation, policy requirements and full stakeholder consultation.
